Polina S. Ross

Senior in-house counsel with deep experience in fintech, insurance, and financial services. I partner with business, product, and compliance teams to launch innovative financial products — from travel insurance and parametric offerings to robo-advisor platforms and asset management tools. I specialize in translating complex regulatory landscapes into clear, actionable guidance that drives growth while managing risk.

I grew up intellectually restless — drawn equally to people, systems, and the rules that hold them together. That curiosity took me to Cornell, where I studied Industrial & Labor Relations before going on to Cornell Law School, where I served as Acquisitions Editor on the Journal of Law & Public Policy.

I began my legal career in litigation and M&A at Morgan Lewis and Skadden, advising boards and executives through some of the most complex transactions and regulatory challenges in financial services. A secondment to Credit Suisse in 2017 opened my eyes to the global intersection of technology, data privacy, and institutional finance.

From there I moved in-house — first to Prudential, where I helped shape a $6B robo-advisor platform, and then to Airbnb, where I built the legal infrastructure for one of the most innovative travel insurance programs in the industry. I'm licensed in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
